What is the smartest financial move I have made so far? My coffee cone. I just place it over my mug and throw in a filter and some coffee. Now I don’t have to feel bad about buying my favorite coffee - I just buy it by the pound instead of the cup.
I drink on average 16 cups of coffee per week. A pound of coffee costs $8.49 per pound and yields about 32 servings. At close to $2 per cup in the coffee shop I save almost $75 per month. What do I do with all the money I save? It goes to a mutual fund that I recently opened at Charles Schwab.
Right now I am looking for a giant cone so I can make 4 - 6 cups at a time. What I should really do is cut down on the coffee but I don’t see that happening any time soon. From what I hear, I’m a better person after drinking a cup of coffee.
